Relatively speaking, the hotel appeared to be good value and in a good location. Our bed rooms in a family suite were co As it is an older hotel, it is a bit tired. Our bathroom was in need of attention - the shower screen leaked and the floor was a slip hazard. good location.
utilitarian. a place to sleep and that was it. Double room, Double queen bed could be interpreted as a "suite" type room with two rooms. change your description to single room, double queen bed to avoid confusion. it shows up in a search for 2 room suite type rooms which it should not. The location of this hotel is fantastic, right between Soldier Field and Navy Pier.
Not good at all. Wifi was down for whole day; toilet flush and showing sewer were not working; the staff answer was not very friendly and serious.
Don't bother - stay at a decent hotel, instead This hotel needs a MAJOR renovation. Granted, beds and carpets were up to date, but everything else seemed to have never been renovated since the 50s. The worst are the outdated A/C units which lack thermostats, followed by the doors that are so warped that they have to be pushed open or close with great force. Hotel dat te veel leunt op zijn vroegere status. Het hotel is legendarisch in de geschiedenis van Chicago maar erg verouderd en het personeel heeft vooral veel smoesjes om iets niet te doen. Zo gaf de kelner aan dat de koffiemachine stuk was en de bar gesloten was waardoor hij niet bij de frisdrank kon en dat rond 15:00 uur met een vol terras. Friendly staff and would definitely consider staying again hoping for a cleaner room Room was extremely dirty, the shower walls were covered in hair; its insane this was missed in preparing the room Amazing location, easily accessible and friendly staff
