Poor This hotel’s best days were decades ago, and it clearly shows.
Quick weekend getaway. Little outdated, knew what we were getting into based of previous reviews but enjoyed our stay. History of the Hotel

Bare minimum decent, but not at all luxury unless you're shelling out a lot more money. I've heard some of the rooms have been updated, but mine certainly wasn't one of them. I still paid a good chunk of money for it, but that's Chicago's downtown for you. In my room the carpet had patches and holes, the bed was mostly solid and uncomfortable, I could not control the temperature of the room (only whether the fan was on high, low, or off), and the bathroom was fine but the flooring was obviously old.
