Would go back in a flash. Hallway carpets have had their day Loved the historical feel of the hotel. We upgraded when we saw the basic room with a view on the roof to a view on Lake Michigan which to us, was worth the extra cost.

Out our wonderful lakeview window Saturday night fireworks could be seen. the only thing i found lacking was that the hot water in the shower was lukewarm at best. But I'm sure that was so people who don't like hot showers don't get burned. Otherwise, it was a very nice weekend. it is a very nice hotel. The building is older as it was built in the late 1800s, but it is a wonderful place. Up dated and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Good Hoewel de badkamer goed was, was het jammer dat je steeds een bad in moest stappen. Daarnaast voelde het een beetje oud aan. Het was ook jammer dat de douche kop vast was. Het personeel kan nogal uit de hoogte doen en is niet altijd perse behulpzaam. Doordat de kamer uitkeek op het sguk tussen dak en die een opening had op hetvwesten kreeg je eigenlijk altijd vrij vroeg zonlicht in de kamer die niet perse goed werd tegen gehouden door de gordijnen. muy agradable no tener incluido el desayuno por el elevado precio que pagamos teníamos una habitación grande para cuatro personas, constaba de dos habitaciones y una sala de estar.
Great location, price and value! The building is old and the rooms could maybe use some updating, but honestly, it's a historic building so overall it was pretty charming. Excellent location right outside the Loop in downtown Chicago and a quick walk to the train. The room wasn't cheap but it was competitively priced for the area. Location was great with beautiful views, but hotel is old and worn. Room service came at 3 pm which didn’t work for us. Loud construction on the floor above us forcing us to change rooms after 2 days. Rude front desk employee. Restaurants are mediocre. Location
