We were excited to share dinner with out-of-town guests at the Fountain Room, but a poorly trained staff made for a horrible experience. It began innocently enough, ordering two shrimp appetizers. They came served on the same plate, fine, except there was a single serving of the cocktail sauce. The waiter could not be flagged down and never returned to check on us. Poor service! Food was cold! Not worth the prices! CO2 issues so no draft beer.

Sea bass was overcooked and chewy. Almost inedible. Went for my wife's birthday. They gave her a card signed by staff upon arrival, but then nothing. Not even a token dessert with a candle, or something similar. Poor form. Very thoughtless. Only positive was wait staff was excellent

They sat us (a party of six )right inside the door. Waitress was snarky. Food was sub par with incredibly small portions for sides and appetizers for the price. My son’s strip steak was overdone. My prime rib was overly fatty and drowning in gravy. Had to hunt our server down to get the bill. Will not return.

Gnats flying everywhere. Spent more time trying to get them away than eating the food. Food was delicious and great service from JJ our waiter

The restaurant was dirty. We sat in a booth in the bar area, food crumbs all over table and seat. Food was ok, but definitely not worth the cost. Nice atmosphere, just very poor execution.

Quality not like it was. Steaks I had when they first open were the best I’ve had in town. NY Strip this time was ok. Brussel sprouts were swimming in balsamic. Tuna tartar was chewy

Then the host offered us the second worst table which we accepted because I really did not want to spoil our evening because of their behavior. As we sat and ate two really good tables next to us became available in 15 mins after we sat down. The food was good and the best part of our experience was the server. He was very polite and e... read more
