Out of the four of us— big miss on the cocktails. We even tried ordering something else after our first round but they were not good. Food was ok, but nothing extraordinary for the price. Relish tray was delicious. Lemon chicken was a little dry, but sides were good. Two members of our party got the steaks— 8OZ AUSTRAILIAN WAGYU CENTER CUT FILET MIGNON. Very disappointed. Staff was friendly, but don’t think we will be back.

Despite having a reservation, we still waited over 45 minutes for a table. We were paying a babysitter to go out on a date night so it’s upsetting to waste it in a waiting area. Also, when we asked about the table status, the hostess was SO RUDE and said, “I *literally* have no idea,” and looked away. She appeared super annoyed that we would even ask. Waited another 25 minutes after that still, no updates from them at all. Horrible experience from the front desk. I will *literally* never be back.

What a cool and gorgeous place. The bar is boring. Sit in the dining room. Great service! Food...that's another story. Bland...Unseasoned. Just blah! Filet with Bleu Cheese crust still lacked flavor and was a bit tough. Potato casserole was bland. everything needed salt. Ceviche was pretty good. Definitely go here and maybe I just had a bad day of food. ASK FOR SALT!

I would not recommend coming here for Devour. The food was extremely bland. We ordered lemon chicken and spicy shrimp. The chicken was dry, needed salt, and had very little lemon flavor. The shrimp had absolutely no spice whatsoever.

We were very excited to come to the Fountain Room for the first time last night. It was underwhelming to say the least. The food was barely edible. The Caesar salad was portioned for a child, the pork shank was rubbery, the polenta tasted like wax, the risotto was the consistency of oatmeal, and the brownie was essentially store bought. I appreciate a new restaurant trying to test out dishes during Devour, but these items were all a no for us. What a shame.

Three hints for new Fountain Room Diners: (1) Request not to be seated on the second floor (unless you like to eat in a drab meeting room). (2) Tell your server to take off the shady 4% surcharge that gets added to your bill without disclosure. Outrageous! (3) Skip the Devour Indy menu and order off the regular menu. Based on the summation of items available on both menus, you will save at least $10.

Main fish special entrees both over cooked then changed to chicken and sea bass. Both again either undercooked or overcooked. Wanted to like this restaurant but food was not great even though the prices are high end. Unfortunately will not be going back

Waited 25 minutes past reservation time. Someone (I presume maybe the manager) did give us a coupon for a free appetizer due to the hassle, (but then our waitress added it to our bill anyways) Appetizer was good. The drink It’s 5’oclock everywhere, was so sour, it was hardly drinkable. The prime rib french dip with fries was average, nothing special about the fries. The petite filet was cooked to order, easy to cut, but lacked flavor. The mashed potatoes were so bland & flavorless. It took our meal nearly an hour to come out... read more
