Hosted a party of 8 in the back room and our table service was excellent, the food delicious. I'm from the Gulf Coast and have numerous family traditions involving gumbo, and this measured up nicely. Will go back next opportunity.
The wait staff and food amazing!
Absolutely delicious!! The shrimp were probably the best I’ve ever had. Fried to perfection and soooo juicy and flavorful! The fried green tomatoes were yummy and the jalapeño tarter sauce was out of this world! I had the traditional gumbo and my son had the seafood gumbo. Bold spices and oh so warm on a cold night. Will for sure go back.
This place is incredible. The food and drinks were awesome! I can’t wait to come back and dine again.

The server was helpful and friendly but she really wasn’t very good. Hailing from New Orleans myself, I was very excited by the idea of a restaurant with owners from New Orleans as well. However, the food was way too spicy hot. Cajun/creole food is supposed to be flavorful but not Nashville Hot - even if you are eating it in Nashville. You could tell that the food had the potential to be good but it was cooked with so much red &/or Cajun pepper, that it lost the flavors of New Orleans. We will definitely not be returning.
We sat outside. Had the gumbo trio. Husband said the veggie one made him sick.
