The food was amazing! Service was great. Food was delivered quickly. Our waiter was hilarious.
Great night! We got there at 7:10 and had our drinks, appetizers and dinner by 7:32.. WOW. Our waiter was great and the food was delish. Fav dish of the night for everyone including our 9 year old was the alligator bites. If you’re considering a drink, go with the “purple drank” .. you can’t go wrong. Great experience, will be back for sure!

Best shrimp I’ve had without an ocean view. Fresh, not over-breaded. Fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Gumbo was good and I’m from the coast so I am more high maintenance about my gumbo. It had great flavor and plenty of shrimp in it. Didn’t see any other seafood in it. Will definitely go back!
One of the best places I visited in Nashville will definitely be coming back. My server was really great didn’t catch his name but I tipped him $25 on a $72 ticket. I had the fried okra which was delicious, we had a shrimp basket and the gumbo flight and 2 purple Frank’s all was excellent choices. Hit the spot on this cooler day of 42* and drizzling outside.
I had a pleasant experience and our waiter Jericha was excellent!
The gumbo sampler is great.
Food was just okay, I love Cajun food and was simply not impressed the gumbo which is what The service staff was great but overall service wasn’t the best as they were out of several items on the menu.
We had a wonderful experience at The Gumbo Bros. From the gentleman who greeted us, to the server who took very good care of us. Zowie was knowledgeable of the dishes and her descriptions were spot on. The food was absolutely delicious! The fried green tomatoes were the best we’ve had, the gumbo (all 3), were delicious and the beignets were larger than expected and oh so good! Thank you for a delicious Cajun meal!
