The staff is great. The location and facility are great. Mom just does not care much for the food
We had a few hiccups in the beginning, but things are working out great now that things are straightened out. My mom actually watched The Heritage being built years ago because she lived close by. In her mind she always thought she would live here. She felt very comfortable because she knew the area well. Everybody has been absolutely wonderful and goes above and beyond to help out. It was a good community, but was smaller than we wanted for my loved one.
The on site doctor is very good which some of the smaller places we looked at do not have. It is expensive but it is worth it because she is doing very good here and she has not done well in a long time. They do put a lot of effort and try really hard to please the residents and family, I find that they listen to your questions or concerns that you may have. They have activities provided but my mom has not gone to any yet, we are going to try to go to a church service this weekend and ease her into them. I would recommend an... read more
This was the second community we had toured and right away you could just tell how nice everything looked. Our loved one seems really happy so far with the meals and dining service. They are not very social so they do not participate in the activities, but on their Facebook page it looks like they have a lot of fun stuff there. We have recommended this community to other families and we will continue to do so.
We chose The Heritage Tomball because I really liked the staff when I met them for the first time, the location was good, and it is a great value for the money. The apartment sizes are just fine for what she needs. My mom says that she absolutely loves the food. I would recommend to others looking.
I would recommend The Heritage Tomball with some reservations. They were short staffed during my loved one's stay. My loved one would get one shower instead of two showers a week. The activities were limited and due to the pandemic they weren't able to start church services up again. The dining room has assigned seating and this wasn't conveyed to the residents.
With a community I feel like you get what you pay for with my mother I felt that there was just different care needed. Nothing negative about the community at all just not the right fit for our loved one.
My parents have had an amazing experience with The Heritage Tomball. From the beginning of the process going to tour up until now it has just been wonderful. We would absolutely recommend them to others looking.
