Unfortunately my experience was horrible and I will not be going back. The service was subpar, and unlike several reviews complaining of the price being high, my complain was the food and service. I don’t have an issue with the price if the food and service is good. I ordered a meal based on the servers recommendation and it was tough. It was dry and I believe it was sitting there anll day and was heated up ant the last minute. I even tried to deal with it by requesting extra sauce, it was just too tough. Food was great, but for the price I could have gotten more service. We had brunch ordered some mimosas and other drinks, our waiter just picked up the glass never asked if we would like another. We had to ask for water and she only filled 1/2 the table my other guest had to ask for water….. Just the service only makes this my first and last time.

I have been to this restaurant several times for Brunch and Dinner. Each time it was a great experience. This recent Brunch visit 7/28 the quality of the food and the service was ridiculously BAD. It's sad like most new restaurant's they start out great and within months the quality of the service and food changes thus causing for another Black owned business to close. At this rate it won't be long for this one.

The ambiance and menu were great, the service was not there. Our server did not know the answers to our questions regarding the mimosa tower, she did not provide an option to best suit our requests (she said the champagne and juice are already premixed but another table got their tower with no mix added) she never followed up with us after receiving our food to ask if we needed any sauce or check in, we had to go up to another server to ask for another bottle of champagne, condiments, and our tab. I brought in 9 of my friends to Brunch here. Our waiter knew nothing about the menu. Asked one of the ladies 5 times what she ordered. Tenders and cakes. She had the easiest meal and got it last and well after our food. Two of us ordered the famous oxtails n grits they call it. Our portion was extremely small, and grits were old and reheated. Great atmosphere. Food underwhelming. Service super slow. No one approached our table until sitting there almost 45 minutes. Food items ordered forgotten and not received. Fried chicken and crawfish beignets fried in old oil.

Food wasn’t good, entree came before appetizers, rice was cool and rib suya was warm, fish was warm and rice was cold. Wasn’t worth it at all…

The food didn’t look like what was advertised. Portions are too small for the restaurant to be as expensive as it is. It was a no I won’t be a repeat customer for me.
