This was my 2nd time there both times they were out of oxtails and that is what I wanted to eat
I love black owned business but this restaurant didn't meet my expectations at all. Half of the menu was unavailable. Chicken was served with feathers attached (No Lie). Totally ruined father's day.
Walked in and all the host and hostesses were just standing around talking and was not greeted. I had to ask where we could sit and if bar was open or wait to be seated. Took about 15 min just to get water and for someone to see if we needed anything, due to that we walked out.

The DJ was great, but they charged me for an alcoholic drink when I in fact got a mocktail. So $18 for juice is wild. The food was very mid and the waitress definitely forgot about us at one point.
This was my second time coming to The Icon and I was extremely disappointed. My first visit set the bar high for me however this time I had the opposite experience. Tori was my server this time and her service was NOT it for me. Her energy was very low and wasn’t very friendly. She hardly came to check on our table after we placed our orders. I've been twice and Customer Service and Experience was POOR. Friday for Ladies R&B then Sunday for Brunch Food was Fair. I feel African American owned businesses should really work on having a staff that excells in Customer Service
Went last night .. food horrible and our waitress had a nasty attitude
Our service was terrible. My wife and I went for dinner, drinks and hookah but left before we could even order dinner. Our waitress was avoiding us and treated us as if she had a problem with us. We’ve been here several times but we will not be back.
