This was my first time coming to Icon in the afternoon. I typically visit at 11 for brunch when the restaurant first opens. I will NEVER go back in the afternoon. As much as I love our waitress’s personality, she was not great. Got there at 3. No water was offered. Drink orders were taken about :10 in. :30 after, I asked for water. The entire dining experience at The Icon was excellent. The atmosphere was really comfortable, the meal was superb, and our server was attentive. We loved how the manager showed up and introduced herself. I am anticipating my next visit and highly recommend this restaurant.
This place has great vibes. Everyone was polite and courteous, and the music was on point. Our server provided great feedback on the menu. However, the drink prices were quite expensive, despite being very good. The food tasted good, but I personally didn’t think it was worth $45. Despite this, I’ll definitely visit again.
The ambience at the icon was 10/10. The decor gives luxurious and classy. The service was okay we were greeted when we walked in and promptly seated for our 7:15 reservation. I ordered the salmon Oscar with jollof rice and my boyfriend ordered the jerk chicken with jollof rice. My salmon Oscar wasn’t hot and there wasn’t much cream sauce or flavor to the dish. The Oxtails and rice is amazing but the wings they need to bring down the price. We ordered wings and we received 3 wings for $18. The drinks need to be reasonable as well.
Music was too loud! There were a number of guests who wanted to have conversations with their friends and you could not hear!
