I had high hopes for the Kirby House. However- The Menu is very limited. Pizza was terrible! Tasted like frozen pizza 😞 What a disappointment

Visiting a local from out of town and he recommended we get a steak at Kirby’s. Looked like a slow night (in more ways than one) in the Grill Room and wanted to sit by the window but both available tables had not been bussed. Chose to wait since we were told we couldn’t order off the same menu at the sidewalk tables outside. Hostess had to buss and wipe the table and left it wet so we had to use our napkins to dry it ourselves. VERY VERY VERY EXPENSIVE FOOD!!!! I could have handled that but our service was very poor. The server was very nice, but she kept disappearing and not coming back. The food didn’t even taste good. Very disappointed 😞
Both my wife’s and I food was cold. Waitress wasn’t to be seen once our food was delivered. Meals were bare minimum, no thrills. Won’t be back.
Well tried to have a nice dinner with my wife. We frequently go to Gilmore collection restaurants and have a great experience. Tonight at Kirby’s was definitely not up to what we are used to at the Gilmore collection. For starters we had 2 different servers. Had a hard time even placing our orders. (They we’re not busy at all). The waitress that finally took our order seemed to be quite put off that she had to take our order. Very loud live music inside during lunch. Not very tasteful. The hostesses at the door were not welcoming and appeared indifferent to the customers. We got a table on the patio. That was very nice. The food was average.
