Jeanette and Rob were terrific to work with...responsive, helpful and efficient. When Rob came to measure he gave us honest feedback about how the carpet we picked might not work for the large size of our room, and Jeanette helped us find the perfect alternative. They were courteous, and the carpet in both our great room and one of the bedrooms turned out fantastic. We would highly recommend them to anyone who needs fair, reliable and genuinely nice people to help with your carpeting needs

I’ve used and known Jeanette and Robert for years, and they never disappoint with service, cost, or final product. Their work is above and beyond the completion. I can’t recommend them more highly for anyone who is not familiar with their service!

I finally found a carpeting store that I actually enjoy dealing with. The store is inviting and appealing, not to mention the great selection of products. Robert obviously knows what he is doing in floor installation and gets the job done quickly and neatly. Jeanette is a delight to deal with and you get the sense that she really cares about her customer. Would not hesitate to recommend The Longest Yard!

What a wonderful experience. From the moment you enter the store you feel the good energy and the willingness to help. Janette the owner was extremely helpful. She was very patient and helped us to make the right choice. Robert and his helper were professional, neat and courteous. Their work was excellent, and we couldn’t be happier with the quality of the rug. From the start, Jeanette was patient and helped tremendously in picking out the right carpet for my stairs. It’s so nice to do business with caring professionals. We will definitely use them again for future projects.

I stopped in at The Longest Yard one day to look at carpet...Jeanette was the most caring, friendly and fun lady...She showed me carpets to match my material for my living room (even went outside for different lighting).I couldnt decide that day so she gave me a bag of samples...Finally I picked one which was the one she picked the1st time I went in...She definitely is awesome...thank you Jenette Be Happy....My carpet is installed looks beautiful and was done to perfection...Thank you Robert for your amazing work...

We wanted to install a new stair runner and redo the ceramic tile in front of our fireplace. We were happy to find the The Longest Yard which is conveniently located to our home address in Nutley.
