We were recommended to the longest Yard by our contractor. We were extremely happy with the over all help from Jeanette with her knowledge not only of her products but how to make us feel comfortable enough to express what we were looking for in carpets. Robert did an awesome job with the new carpets and we are so happy with the whole experience. I would definitely recommend the Longest Yard to all my family and friends. This is my second experience with the Longest Yard and they somehow managed to provide even better service than the first time, which I did not think was even possible. We were very pleased with the quality of the new carpet installation and stretching of an older carpet that another vendor installed several years ago. Definitely appreciated Jeanette's assistance with our carpet selection. The carpet looks beautiful and even makes the room seem larger.
Having our basement stairs carpeted was the fastest and easiest process with Jeanette and Robert!! My first thought was to go to Home Depot until I remembered the negative experiences we had with them for other house improvement projects. I decided to support a local business instead and went with the Longest Yard. I am so happy I did! It was a pleasure meeting and working with Jeanette and Robert. At first I thought I wanted a darker flooring and because we were allowed to take home samples I realized something in a lighter-to-medium range would actually look much better. I was introduced to The Longest Yard while helping a friend pick a carpet for her basement. At the same time, I was beginning the process of redoing two rooms and it was that experience that told me I needed to work with Jeanette and her husband, John. Jeanette is extremely knowledgeable and goes well beyond the extra mile to ensure her customers are happy with their purchases. John and his team are no different. It was a pleasure working with them.
They did a fantastic job. I originally when to a big box store to get a quote but it took me 20 minutes just to get someone to the flooring section and schedule a measurement. Jeanette was very easy to work with, and spent a good amount of time with me selecting the right carpet for my needs. She kept me up to date on delivery dates and times, and was able to be flexible when I needed it. Robert and his team arrived when they said they would. The carpet was perfectly installed. The kids love their new bedroom.
Jeanette really knows her products and was able to help me select a beautiful carpet that would be able to withstand a large dog. She ordered extra samples to enable me to make the difficult decision on color. Robert and Jeanette both installed my carpet and did an amazing job- everything was left spotless. When a few days later I thought I saw a pull in the carpet Robert responded promptly. All in all a great experience with very nice people.
Being new to the area I went to a big box store first. Something didn’t feel right about it so I searched for a store in the community. From the moment I walked into the store it felt right. From beginning to end Jeanette and Robert were professional, prompt, and personable. I love my new carpet and would highly recommended The Longest Yard.
