A rustic and very warm evening out. Not just seafood, and some interesting menu items for all. Even on a cold November might this restaurant is charming! My first time there.
We go here because its consistent. The food is always good. The portions are huge and the staff is very friendly. Thats why we keep coming back. Best in the summer on the waterfront.Inside the restaurant is very cozy and comfortable too.
It was very good but felt the food was better other times we were there. Still a great time and good food and we will def be going again.

The food is amazing, the view is relaxing, and the clientele radiates fun and enjoyment. A great place for a couple or for a group of people. We have never had a bad experience!
Just wanted a diversion from leaving on Sunday and looked at Open Table on the highway....definitely not worth driving off the path but fish sandwich was ok...area sketchy...wouldn't go again
The waitress was very considerate when we told that we were not in a rush and let us set our own pace for eating. The food as usual was excellent.

This was the first time my huband and I went to the Oar. It won't be our last. The service was attentive and friendly. The appetizers were great and dinner was absolutely delicious. I had the 14oz Strip Steak & a lobster tail cooked exactly as I requested (which is not always the case in other places) My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Salmon entree he had. And then there was live music. What more could you ask for!!! It will not be our last time. We have already told family and friends about this place.
