The outdoor dining overlooking the marina/ Patchogue River was a lovely backdrop for an early evening gathering of friends.
Great service, very good food, glad to have found this hidden gem.
Great waterfront site at reasonble prices. The bartender was very friendly and the music fun too.
We started to be seated "outdoors" near the live entertainment; however, the music was so loud we could not hear anything else (it eventually got turned down after we moved to "indoors" with a nice view of docked boats). The pricey steamed lobster was disappointing, perhaps shipped frozen; veggies on the side were nicely done. Chocolate dessert was indeed decadent. The medium-rare extra thick porterhouse steak at the next table looked wonderful.
The food was very good. We sat on the deck overlooking the water. Unfortunately there was a guitarist playing on the side we sat and we couldn't hear ourselves talk. I don't particularily care for music in a restaurant in the middle of the week. Especially loud music. I can understand soft music in a romantic setting, but this was really annoying. I went with "the girls" and I would go back with my husband.
Food was very good and service was good. The outdoor dining being very close to the bar and boater partying made it less romantic that a water front dining might imply. Needs more separation from bar noise and the band was loud and not romantic. Great for the party crowd but not for a romantic dinner on the water.
when it comes to the food we ordered muscles, seafood bisque, lobster and duck. My husband loved the duck. My lobster seemed overcooked and very chooey. The bisque had way too much pepper in it and the muscles were ok, not the best that we've had. The server that we had was just ok. When we first arrived and received water we got these little cups while everyone else had the big ones, we had to end up asking for the bigger cups so water wouldn't constantly have to be given to us. Our server just asked us if we wanted dessert... read more
Great for a Sunday afternoon.Order a drink, sit back, relax and watch the boats go by.No rush, eat leasurly and enjoy the afternoon. If you must watch the ballgame there are tvs available.Live music on the deck is easy on the ears and does not interfer with conversations.
Dining experience was very good. Food and presentation was wonderful. Service was fast and quick even with it be being so busy and crowded.
