Not a good place. Not understanding of dogs that are new to the kennel setting. Very unkind

my pup went for a test day for doggy daycare, which is an activity we have done before elsewhere and has been great...just looking for the right fit for us for what is offered and location. staff reported noticing a limp halfway through the full day our dog attended that had not been present earlier on, and told us this at pickup time at the very end of the business day. we were not notified of any issues throughout the day, and the solution was instead to separate our dog from the rest of the group. We have used Pet Ranch for years. At the beginning it was amazing. Our dogs loved it. The owners knew our dogs by name when they came in. They have recently sold and the quality has dropped off. They do not communicate in a timely manner. It might take them 12+hrs to return a call or text. THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE! Like never! ! When your animal is sick this is not acceptable. Because of this lack of communication we had to cancel our stay and scramble for other accommodations or risk cancelling our vacation.

We have taken our 2 dogs to Pet Ranch for over 7 years for grooming & occasional boarding. They were top notch until the last 3 weeks. Their groomer moved out of town earlier this year & I assumed the new groomer would be taking over the clientele. I called 3 weeks ago to schedule appointments. I left a message with the front desk for the groomer. No one called. I left a voicemail 2 weeks ago, no one called. Don't take your dog here ever. Poor customer service. Zero communication. Out last visit was followed by a $250 vet bill because of the their negligence. Never. Again.

After 10 years I'm officially over them NEVER EVER ANSWERING THE PHONE! It's ridiculous! I mean they never answer the phone and then you wait 2 days to infinity for a returned call after you leave a message. It's so embarrassingly easy! I'm sorry we loved you guys but we're breaking up! I wanted to like this place. I was excited to have my two dogs board here because it is a huge place and our dogs can board together in the same stall. After boarding them for ten days I picked them up. Neither one had a bath, which they claimed was included. One of the blankets was completely shredded by our dog which they never do at home. Our 80 pound dog was about 50 pounds and looked horrible. He had diarrhea for a week, waking us up through the night to go out. Absolutely horrible! I set boarding for my puppy up over email. I received confirmation and drop off instructions. On the day we are leaving town we show up to drop off our puppy and I am told they don't have the reservation. After showing the attendant the email confirmation I had, he blamed it on a bad coworker and said he would "figure it out" and took our puppy inside. I reserved and paid for a 6 x 12 run for our dog. We have used the Pet Ranch several times over many years. Recently we have noticed customer service has been nothing short of a train wreck. They absolutely never answer the phone when calling during open hours and it is about 50/50 they return a message you leave. We were supposed to have our dogs bathed prior to leaving for their latest visit and not only were they not bathed the attendant lied about it and said they could still bath them but we would have to wait to pick up.
