When my daughter and her roommates moved in two years ago the apartment was dirty there were holes in one fo the bedroom doors, no knobs on the washer and dryer etc. we cleaned it up got them moved in and repairs were eventually done....WIFI is sketchy at best, and let’s just talk about move out!!!! Right now I am fighting about a charge of a suppose burnt board on their balcony. If you are attending University in the area DO NOT sign with University Estates Apartments nor any of their affiliates that are managed by the "The Preiss Company" They have no compassion, and are the worst in response and up Keep on their complexes. Even before Covid issues and Students and their parents losing everything. They had crappy comments such as "guess you better move out and clean your apartment so you don't get any late fees if you can't afford it. awful company. would not rent from them on any of their properties.
slumlords that refuse to address mold issues. will not address any of the issues. break into tenants' rooms and go through their stuff without notice. utterly horrible company, should be shut down by the BBB.
I'll just post what I posted as a review for university estates since its owned by The Preiss Company- Absolutely do not sign a lease with these people It looks nice, but they're absolute monsters. It's like biting into a shiny apple filled with maggots. They DO NOT DO quarterly maintenance they're supposed to do as shown in the lease. This apartment complex refuses to address complaints by its tenants and the landlord, Javier, is an utter fink, gaslighting the tenants and willing to claim that their respiratory issues are caused by COVID-19, knowing that states may choose to leave disabled people to die from the virus if they do get ill. This is an unethical housing company, with an illicit partnership with J&J Towing to illegally tow cars from visitor's parking space, likely as punishment for filing complaints.
