It's nice enough. But I'm not exactly happy here. I know I'm the same physical age of many residents here. But in other ways I'm much younger So it has been frustrating for me. The meals are just so so with chicken served almost every day. I'm really over that so I prepare my meals myself in my apt. most of the time. They're charging me an extra $[fee removed] because I do not eat breakfast food much and switched to lunch instead. $[fee removed]!!!!

To be fair, the scores will be for the memory care section which is very different from the rest of the facility. Mom was more cognitively aware and highly functioning than anyone else in memory care and she wasn't able to participate in the assisted living activities or go over that side of the facility which is much larger and nicer . We have since moved Mom from this facility about a year ago. Numerous items were stolen from her room, and one of the staff members was extremely rude to our family. The food is not the best quality, but it was adequate. The apartments are enormous value for the money, best price around for sure. This was a great placement for my mother at first, but slowly the quality of this place declined. Some updating needs to occur with the elevators and pool area. Otherwise the area is very clean. The people are all very kind. The staff are very attentive. I love the doctor/nurse/PT staff. They could really improved on the food. Activities have improved greatly. I feel seasonally it diminishes some in the summer. I absolutely would not recommend to others. 1. My biggest concern is they constantly have multiple elevators out at a time. This is a safety issue that is very concerning. 2. The restaurant food is horrible, since she moved in the meal quality has deteriorated and the portions have gone down significantly. 3. There is no control over their staff of who has keys to the residents apartments and that is very concerning. 4. My sister and I had to quickly move my ailing mother into assisted living with promises of therapy, medications, and entertainment. Instead she is stuck in an apartment with no balcony 200 yards from anything. If something were to happen God knows. The prices are obsene, and the medical staff excluding a nurse or two are terrible. Look elsewhere please

The facility is not a good choice for a person who needs a higher level of hands on care. Nursing/ care staff is difficult to work with in solving problems. May be okay if someone is fairly independent. I would not recommend the facility.

My experience at this facility has been terrible. One of my biggest complaints here is the food. It comes out ice cold. All of it, no matter what it is. I will say, they did hire a new Chef and things started to improve. But he got fired and now they're back to what they were. The meat, the vegetables, everything is served cold.
