The rate is excessive and they have raised the rent $[removed] a month since she moved in, even though she needs less assistance now. Several residents have had to move out due to similar rent increases

Like many industries, senior living has been significantly impacted by growing inflation, especially in the areas of food, energy, and the overall cost of care. Despite these challenges, we remain dedicated to maintaining the quality of services and care that our residents deserve.
My FIL was having behavioral issues, they were the only facility willing to take him. The staff has been outstanding in meeting his needs. Conversely Silver Square was no help at all with this situation!
Silver Square in Dover, NH is a beautiful facility. It's more of an independent facility versus an assisted living facility. Very expensive, and I wish she had the care from Lake Howard Heights in Winter Haven, FL instead. But at least she is safe, fed, and happy, with a roof over her head.

As an assisted living community we are fully licensed to provide assistance with the activities of daily living (i.e. help with bathing or dressing, medication reminders, escorts to meals and other non-medical services),along with a full range of memory care support. While we do have some independent residents who take no services, the great majority do take advantage of our assisted living or memory care.
5 stars for all categories! All of the staff at Residence at Silver Square have been extremely helpful, caring and friendly. My friend who is here, her niece had a lot of trouble with red tape getting her into a facility. I told her to call the person from Silver Square that had contacted me twice from A Place for Mom. Within two days, my friend was moved into Silver Square with her help. I highly recommend this facility to others looking. We made the best decision choosing the Residence At Silver Square for my mother and father-in-law. The staff are very caring and attentive. They take the time to get to know their clients. One can tell this is their passion, and not just a job to them. My mother-in-law passed away this February and was in the hospice program. They gave every attention to detail and cared not only for her and my father-in-law, but all the family that came to visit. The staff was very pleasant, respectful, helpful when needed. I highly recommend them! Lovely place. Monthly rate on the high side, but if people can afford it, I am sure they would enjoy it!
Overall we like all the residence facilities but they are somewhat challenged in provided full and stable staffing. The meals and dining service is excellent and the activities are frequent and varied.
