My Mum has now been living at The Residence At Silver Square, in Dover, NH for going on to three months. She is healthier and happier than when she left her beloved home of forty years. Her nutrition has improved by a number that is off the charts. The physical therapy is better than what was provided when she was at home. She has made many friends and has become active within the community. The dining room is open from 7:00am to 7:00pm and there are more than half a dozen choices for each meal, plus ‘specials’. The rate is excessive and they have raised the rent $[removed] a month since she moved in, even though she needs less assistance now. Several residents have had to move out due to similar rent increases

Silver Square in Dover, NH is a beautiful facility. It's more of an independent facility versus an assisted living facility. Very expensive, and I wish she had the care from Lake Howard Heights in Winter Haven, FL instead. But at least she is safe, fed, and happy, with a roof over her head.

As an assisted living community we are fully licensed to provide assistance with the activities of daily living (i.e. help with bathing or dressing, medication reminders, escorts to meals and other non-medical services),along with a full range of memory care support. While we do have some independent residents who take no services, the great majority do take advantage of our assisted living or memory care.
