Located in Northern California’s Mendocino County there is a skunk running through the redwood forest, but this isn’t any skunk, it’s the world famous Skunk Train. The California redwoods, pristine coastline, and award winning vineyards are all a part of the landscape of what makes Mendocino County such an amazing place and home to this 131-year-old train.

Atmosphere and the timeframe fit our schedule. Live music was great! Would like more firepits, seating and bathrooms. Having food and drinks separate for visitors would improve wait times or a second bar.
The staff made the trip enjoyable.
All of us (four people) had a wonderful time doing the Skunk “Wolf Turn” out of Willits. It was a birthday present from the kids and me to my wife, who is a big fan of train travel, so we got the VIP tickets with lunch. Everyone, from the Conductor, to the “Singing Conductor”, to the concession staff, were over-the-top helpful and entertaining! A 5-star GREAT experience!! We’ll do it again!!
We absolutely loved everything. The staff was very nice. The conductor was very knowledgeable, Peter did great with the snacks and the music man was soooooooo good. The blue in the meadow was such a lovely touch.
Trip was good and fun. Nice to see all the games to keep us entertained and the music was nice.
I have been wanting to ride the rail bikes for a long time now. This weekend I was celebrating my and just so happened to be googling things to do in Ft Bragg and was surprised when this came up. I purchased two tickets right away (well after asking my BF). We both enjoyed riding the rail bikes, listening to our guide narrate and also the wonderful .9 mi hike. It got our hearts pumping and we burned some calories. Next up would be to ride the skunk train. This was a great trip
The ride on the Skunk Train was so much fun. Greg, the train singer, was very entertaining. The guide telling us what to look for was very informative. We plan on going again.
Great relaxing trip. Fantastic misician!!
