Located in Northern California’s Mendocino County there is a skunk running through the redwood forest, but this isn’t any skunk, it’s the world famous Skunk Train. The California redwoods, pristine coastline, and award winning vineyards are all a part of the landscape of what makes Mendocino County such an amazing place and home to this 131-year-old train.

Me and my Grandkids had a great time. 💖💖
Super fun. We’ll worth the admission. Awesome adventure for kids and older folks. Just excellent. Period correct staff and trains and fun fun fun!
We enjoyed our ride on the Skunk Train! Beautiful scenery. If you have the time, I would recommend making a day if it. Pack a picnic to take with you, get off and explore and hike around when you get to the end, and wait for the next train to get there before you take the ride back. Unfortunately, we didn't have the time to do that though, so we just got the walk round in the immediate vicinity of the train, and couldn't get lost in the woods at all.
Perfect scenery! Wondering experience 🎸🎸🎸
To short of a ride for the cost. Had fun. Should lower the cost. Till the train can get to it end
The rail bike experience is worth every penny. Had an incredible time. Brendon, our guide, was fantastic. He didn't act like he had done it a hundred times and was just going through the motions; he was funny and enthusiastic. Overall fabulous experience!

Halfway into our trip, my granddaughter discovered that she had left her phone behind at the diner!!! After waiting what seemed like forever for bars on our phones, we frantically called The Skunk Train, as we were unable to remember the name of the diner. Azlan, at the Skunk Tra... read more
It was a nice and informative ride
Had a great time. The crew was friendly, helpful and the main guide with the loudspeaker was informative and funny even if the jokes were kind of corny 😂
