The Tryst was fun and relaxing! The restaurant, Wicked Lilly, had poor serve; staff was blatantly rude. I went in a 7:45pm they did not want to serve me. i feel the behavior was stereotypes, I am middle-age woman of color. The Tryst location was prime, steps from the beach! The location had stores and restaurants within walking distance. There is no need for a vehicle. Great feel, upbeat place.

We are unfortunately closing the restaurant earlier than usual because of the Covid19 restrictions. We would stay here again , but we went to the pool at the hotel next door. There were a few drawbacks during our stay: the kitchen was infested with ants, paper towels and toilet paper have to be requested, along with extra blankets, towels and washcloths. We did not use the housekeeping service, but we were told that it was available. All in all, at $200 per night ... it wasn't a bad stay but we would have liked to have a pool and possibly TV's in every bedroom. All in all, it was a good stay.
