RecommendedHighly recommend The Vacation Company! Stayed at Shorewood 510 from 9/12 - 9/19. Great experience. Comfortable, roomy, well decorated condo in a great location, close to so many good restaurants and shops. View from the living room and balcony was fantastic! Many extras were left for us, including dish soap, dishwasher soap and washer pods, courtesy of The Vacation Company. Had an amazing time!! Will definitely return. 🌞❤
RecommendedWonderful experience with this company! They promptly informed us of an earlier check in time which we greatly appreciated. The unit was immaculate and fully furnished to suit all our needs. Plan to use them for all future vacation needs!
RecommendedOur condo was clean and we we’re able to get in before 4 pm. Beau was very prompt when we needed something removed from a closet so we could hang clothes!
Very dissatisfied. Pool was closed after calling to verify it was open. Management will not return calls in timely manner. Had leak in ceiling because of poor maintenance. Don’t know who bob is but very unprofessional. Will never stay in another of their properties again. Just an update. Come to find out bob is the owner of the company. Would be wise to keep him off the phones and behind a desk where he does not have customer interaction. Never book with them again
Actual house was as pictured. Unfortunately when we arrived there was a pile of trash (7 garage bags outside trash can) in the drive way (which critters got into) which were not removed for 4 days despite 2 requests to remove it. Also upon arrival dirty linens were present, toilet and sink were clogged as well as the dryer not working. We won’t book through The Vacation Company again as basic utilities were not usable. Also on this property the pool deck is covered in mold and not well maintained.
Don’t Ever book with The Vacation Company. We booked and then due to the current global crisis we canceled well in advance and they still charged 9 1/2 % fee to cancel!! REALLY!!! If they could do that during a pandemic crisis what would they do otherwise. Shame on them!! Owners, Bob Watkins & Beth Henzler you should be truly ashamed of yourselves. I had to cancel my vacation for the last week of May going into the first week of June. I canceled it before the deadline to get my full refund, given the times and the public beach access are closed up until the week before we go, have been told the stores are bare, restaurants are closed, what is going on is up in the air. Will if even be reopened by then? They kept my booking fee. Did I want to cancel, no. I am a healthcare working in a testing center, I need my vacation, but think it’s best to hold off for a year. We had a great experience sheltering in place on Hilton Head. Our condo is lovely with a huge patio. Kitchen is well stocked and the Vacation Company staff has been very attentive when we needed anything. We have extended our stay twice because we feel safer here than at home.
