I was impressed by their attention to staff training. The facilities were very nice. It seemed their program of activities was robust. I will keep it mind if/when it might be time to move my wife
So many good things... Because it's a smaller facility than others I visited, everyone seems to know my brother and his frequent visitors by name. Seems like there's always someone around to help or just interact with the residents. The staff are very kind and pleasant; encouraging not bossy. Do know that I am very happy with my choice. My brother is getting such good care. He's is participating in activities, walking better, making a few friends. He is taking more interest in his appearance, and dressing nicer. My mom has been living here three months and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this community. The staff is so engaged and focused on taking care of the residents and giving them the best quality of life. The amount of fun and activities is great. The food choices are plenty. We are so happy with our choice!
The director, [name removed] is very knowledgeable and helpful. Made our move in as easy as could be expected. All other staff have been very sincere and friendly.

We had been looking for a while for senior living but we’re not sure until we walked into The Village if the Heights. We were welcomed like family they had known for years. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Happy faces, busy residents and excellent food! My mom is loving it. It was a breath of fresh air and we are so happy with our decision
My mom just moved into assisted living. I was very hesitant making the move but could not continue to do it alone. It’s only been 2 weeks and all I can say is wow!!! From the initial meeting with the Executive Director to seeing how the staff have embraced mom. She has made friends already and is becoming social again. She loves the food and the activities. She is having the time of her life!!! Best decision ever!
Great community, staff, activities and food!!! My dad is so happy. Best decision ever. He had instant friends and lots of engagement. I would highly recommend. Always warm and inviting atmosphere. I was researching a community for my mom. Most places I called would not give me information and tried to push me to tour. The Village of the Heights let me know right away they were there to help be a resource and not trying to sell me. They answered all questions, provided information I never thought about and even offered to visit my mom. Highly recommend.
Our mother was evaluated as a Level 4 person needing assistance. A nurse had come out to her house to evaluate her from The Village and told us that she was a Level 4. We thought she would get the care she needed. However, we did not realize that after she was there, there was only one person to the floor; maybe sometimes 2. There was not enough staff to tend to the patients on each floor. Mom did not receive the care that we were told she would have.
