Not the best visit. We were seated quickly, but sat at first booth near the door and had to keep our coats on because of the cold air coming in the door. Received salad and breadsticks AFTER our main dish arrived. Menu was changed some, and my pizza was not as good as prior visits, unfortunately. We did ask our waitress a couple questions about the menu and she didn’t act like she really knew much about it. Thumbs down Theo’s.
Eli was a great server! Very attentive to anything we needed and great customer service!
We had a great dining experience at Theo‘s in Plainfield. They have a new menu and we couldn’t wait to try it out. We started out with a Grey Goose martini which was made to perfection and the Theos old-fashion which is my husband‘s favorite drink there. For dinner, we ordered the short ribs which came with carrots, spinach, and Parmesan potato terrine. It was the most delicious meal we have had in a long time. For dessert, we shared the cannoli, which was also amazing. We both left the restaurant saying we can’t wait to go ... read more
The service was wonderful but they took forever to deliver our meal. Oure waitress went over to tell them that others had come in latwer and had been served before us. Within seconds we had our meal. something went awry because this was our third visit and the first time this occurred. The food was what we expecte. Very good Italian cuisine.
Waiters and waitresses should be trained on how to open a bottle of wine. Also should be trained on spotting food coming out and what it should look like before you bring it to the customer. If the filet medallions look like hockey pucks and the risotto has dried up, then it should not be brought out.
Visited a number of times and all aspects are great
Great service! Great drink selections. We really enjoyed it. Food was was delicious and Service was attentive. They are definitely in our rotation. Jaci was fabulous!
Chopped salad and breadsticks were delicious. Everything else pretty mediocre. The restaurant wasn’t crowded so our service was very good.
Theos is a quaint place to eat. We tried out the Winter Devour menu. Food was good but I was expecting a "Wow" factor rather than mediocre. Great place to try out at least once. The Pizza that other diners were eating did look very good. We chose Lasagna - impressive display as it was served, but taste was not as expected.
