We haven't been there in a while and found it lacked its past quality. We ordered the sample appetizer which had a meatball that was 80% bread-very mushy, soggy oversized over sauced fried calamari, so so dumplings, & spicy fried shrimp which were also over sauced but the best of the platter. Been to the restaurant several times before. This was by far the worst experience I’ve had. To start… was told they had many people come in before us and didn’t have a table, even thought we had a reservation. No big deal, went to the bar area to get a drink. Got ignored by bartender and never actually got a drink. 15 minutes later, was told we have a table which was directly behind us in bar area. We were celebrating our 53rd wedding anniversary. Our waitress was very attentive and caring. the food was delicious as always. The wine was perfect!! We love Thom Thom.
Our waiter was pushy to the point where we felt uncomfortable when we wanted to switch from alcoholic beverages to soda.. our food came out quick however my medium rare steak was well done and the waiter didn’t come back until my husband was already finished eating so it wasn’t worth even waiting for a new steak. We packed it up and left. We’ve been here several times and each time we’ve come it’s gotten worse and worse… not sure we will be back at all.
The food is very good but our server was horrible. It started off good. He came over to our drink order and our entrees. We ordered two appetizers which over 20 minutes to come out. It took another 20 minutes for our entrees to come out. Three tables that arrived after us had received their meals before us which included appetizers. Service was awful. Took an hour and half to get food, and this was when the restaurant had mostly cleared out.
We haven't been here in about five years. We went last night and while the food was pretty good, we found the restaurant filthy. We were seated at a booth at the front window with Venetian blinds hanging. The dust on the blinds was thick enough to write your name on them. The window sill was covered in dirt probably from brushing off the tables. If the public area of the restaurant is this dirty, I shudder to think about what's in the kitchen. Five of ate there on Mothers Day. Waiter at the table was fantastic, as was the bartender at the bar. My dinner of fruit d mare was lousy. No taste, no parsley, just no good at all. First muscle I had was bad. Should have sent it back then. My daughters sea bass was under cooked and she waited 10 minutes for it to be rectified. New piece came out very small. Food was really good just not enough. Apple crisp is just a tart with granola or at least that’s what it tasted like
