Elevators still don’t work. Crime rate is up. Leasing office still won’t answer phones. DO NOT MOVE HERE. — Trying to get through to someone in the office is like trying to make it snow in Las Vegas. If you press that you’re a resident you get sent to voicemail, if you push that you’re looking to rent you get sent to an off site location. No one ever answers the phone yet there’s 50 million people working in the office doing nothing. They’re helpful until you move in and then you’re on your own. Amenities are nice but the ... read more

I’ve lived in the same unit since 2011 and have enjoyed my time there - until three months ago. I realize apartment life inevitably will have its share of noise issues from nearby units. But what makes one complex superior over another is how management handles the noise issues that persist beyond what is reasonable and expected. And, unfortunately, Thousand Oaks fails in this area. In the last three months, I’ve been woken up nearly every single morning by my neighbor’s alarm clock. Without any exaggeration, it can ring f... read more

Signed sight unseen. They put me in a old run down building that they don’t picture on the website. Won’t refund my money.

The only way anyone will contact you back is if you write a post about how unhappy you are. I’ve called and emailed wanting to know when this construction will be over. Every morning from 6ish AM to about 6pm these construction workers are constantly BEEPING! EVEN ON WEEKENDS. They have over run the entire area around my apartment and blocked off a road and basically the way to my mailbox is so small I get frustrated thinking of going over there. They only pretend to care if you yelp and this is going to be miserable living ... read more

The place is nice while you are there, but after move out the office tried to gouge my roommate and I out of nearly a thousand dollars. We always paid our rent on time, never caused any issues, and then they try to squeeze every dime out of us as soon as we leave. I am very disappointed.

The apartments themselves are fine, overall a decent place to live. Extremely overpriced. Also, don't even think about giving them late notice of vacating or they will strip you for every penny you have. Typical apartment complex, they don't care one bit about their tenants, all they want is to take advantage of you by taking your money. We had to move out very abruptly, only to be told we had to give 60 days notice of vacating. First of all, this is impossible to do. Secondly, they wanted to charge us for 60 days that we wo... read more
