First of all when I first moved in my apartment was infest with giant tree roaches!!! And there was a ton of things that had to be fixed! It was not move in ready what so ever!!!! It was actually disgusting! My mom and I had to basically clean the entire apartment it was so gross. And then one morning a Hispanic male started trying to open my door, mind you he didn't bother to knock first, and he was frantically trying to get in. Too many kids running the place. Every time I go into the leasing office I have a bratty 18 year old to greet me. Who never knows what they are doing. The premise is dirty all the time. Trash and cigarette butts everywhere. The maintenance (Billingsley) is the worst I have ever encountered. Not to mention my ac is outdated in my unit- making my electric bill for a 3 bedroom apartment close to 400 dollars. They refuse to fix that problem. Been here a year and it has been the worst experience.
Poor maintenance, takes them forever to finish repairs and when they do its just a band aid.
I live in the new Flatiron Building, and my apartment has flooded 4 times in 5 months. The only option the old management gave me was to move out. (Really fixes the issues, just get rid of me) They obviously know there is issues with the building as they sold to a new management problem.. a reoccurring theme, cant fix it or appease your customer, tell them to leave or sell the building and let another management company deal with it.
I can't get anything done to my apartment (maintenance wise). I have a Brand new apartment and my A/C has went out 3 times in 4 months! The maintenance people blame it on a brand new Nest learning thermostat. Smh.
