This location has the kindest & friendliest personnel. And they show compassion for your pet & you when there's a serious issue with your pet. They made me feel calm & kept me abreast of everything they were going to do before hand & the cost & let me choose what I could afford instead of doing it & then charging me. The staff is amazing, it feels like family. My cat Bootsie got attacked by a dog and was lucky he didn't end up with worse injuries. He got a superficial puncture wound & an ulnar fracture. My wife brought in our shi tsu to thrive McKinney 3 weeks ago for infection in her ears. They ran lab and gave a prescription .$250 plus spent. Set up follow up visit on Jan 31. 2025 . So my wife brings our dog to follow up visit . My dog has NOT gotten any better I can tell by just looking at her ears. they do the same lab as first time and prescribe the same medication that didn't work the first time and a follow up fee. $146.00 cost this time. The front office is exceptionally kind, they were very accommodating! The vet and technicians took great care of my two cats as well. We were in and out, but still received extremely thorough care. This is a great vet!
Our street rescued furry baby was sick and it was the holidays. THRIVE got me right in and provided care that I could afford on my fixed income My husband is retired and I was recently laid off my job so out budget was tight. They had options for me to customize the care needed for Bucee! They even followed up 24 hours after the visit, during the holidays! I will always rely on THRIVE Pet Care!
