When I called to make the appointment, I asked the cost of each vaccination needed. The next day I go to the appointment and each one was more than I was quoted the day before. When I asked about this - even had the costs written down - the girl just said - "Oh yea- we get a lot of complaints about our call center - do you still want to be seen?" Pretty annoyed with this clinic. It's time for my dog to be neutered so I was calling around different clinics asking about their pricing. I called this one because it is very close to my house and they said that they could not even give me a ballpark for neutering they would have to see my dog to give me an estimate. This place declined fast. Each time I go there's a new face/new doctor. In then beginning they were friendly and fast, I signed up for their Thrive Plus plan which is unlimited visits for a set amount a month. They misdiagnosed my dogs torn ACL and gave him pain meds - went to a second source and got him surgery prompt. They asked if the vets I saw were young - confirmed they're inexperienced. They are super unorganized and show little care and compassion for you're pet. We have tried several locations and each one is as bad as the last. We've been told 3 times to come in for vaccines. 1st time too early paid them for nothing and left. Second time too early for 1 vaccine so we can get most now and come back die the other. It's no big deal they said you just have to pay the appointment fee again. Lmao twice wasn't enough of a rip off. I guess third times the charm. Bad. Just bad. Bad experience. Bad vet. Their pricing isn't transparent, they promise one thing and deliver another. I went to another vet and they were appalled at what this vet did with my new puppy. Vaccines were wrong, given at the wrong time. If you read the fine print for their membership they literally say we aren't responsible for providing care. Avoid at all costs. great customer service however i took my 2 cats here about 2 weeks ago. they let me know that they have a skin infection and gave them a shot. HOWEVER, nothing was going away and it looked like it wasn't getting any better. i paid $220 for their visits and didn't see any results. i felt like the doctor didn't listen to my concerns for them, let alone even give them a proper check up, so i took them to a new vet today and they told me they had ringworm !! i'm not sure where the miscommunication was and im sad i have to leave ... read more

Terrible customer service, they said they would call me back to schedule my dogs teeth cleanings after and evaluation, but never got back to me, and then had the audacity to stick their hands into my bank account and process unauthorized charges for non- disclosed policies.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE IF YOU LOVE THEM!!!! I was blinded by a seemingly easy in and out vet process that glammed up their service by offering a monthly membership. You get a discounted price off all services, exam fee is always waived.... Sounds great right? WRONG!!!! Thrive in McKinney is purely negligent. I experienced so many issues with them until I finally decided to stop going to them and find a new vet. I made an appointment with this clinic for the first time for my new cat, who has never been to the vet. Clinic expected me to drop her off, having never met the vet or staff that would be treating her. They used covid as the excuse. Seriously?! I understand precautions, but expecting new customers to just drop off their pets and hope that the vet and staff you never met are competent is RIDICULOUS!!
