Defective I bought two of these and the second was defective (the printer kept showing it as "end of toner life." Frustrating, expensive, didn't know until after the item was no longer returnable.
Toner leak The toner arrived with a leak. Opened the bag, and found black powders smeared on the cartridge. I cleaned the outside with a dry cloth, but it still took over 100 pages of paper to took the most of the residual powders out from the toner and drum. There are still some ghost prints now, but it is managable. I suspect the leak is caused by the fact that the high yield toner has to accommodate more powders in the cartridge as compared to standard cartridge. Name and product are not matched - It is refurbished I use Amazon to shopping a lot. I don't have problem at most times. On this purchase, I did have problem. First of all, this product is under the name as above - Brother TN360 High Yield Black Toner Cartridge. I think this is OEM. The web page has price comparing - I picked up the lowerset price. False advertising This item was advertised as a "Brother TN360 High Yield Toner Cartridge ." But I received a compatible refilled cartridge made by some unknown company. This was not a mistake because other customers have made the same complaint relating to this company. If I wanted an compatible cartridge I would have ordered one, so will send it back.
Brother Toner It appears to be a good toner at good price. I haven't installed it yet but I am sure it will be fine.
It is okay... The price was good but I'm seeing clumps of toner that smudge the pages. It is okay for what I do with pages I print.
OEM product works ok I changed my old Brother HL2140 with this new toner cartridge. The first few prints have bleeded on the far right edge of the paper. I printed a few more test pages and there's still the black line printing on the far right of the page. anyone have suggestions? I don't think the printer head is the problem
Lowest price anywhere and nearly 5,000 copies per toner I have been ordering this toner directly from Amazon for several years with great satisfaction. Why? Amazon has the lowest price, always sends an OEM toner and has free shipping. The trick to maximizing "high yield" is to set your printer properties to 300 dpi and turn on the Toner Saver Mode. In Windows 7, these controls are accessed via the Control Panel - Printers - Properties - Preferences - Advanced. My printer is a Brother HL-2170W.
Go for it I do not buy cartridges from store. It is much cheaper on Amazon. It is the original product from Brother. I prefer high yield, because it prints more pages than normal yield. If you are in business or small office or home office. I would recommend this for your printer.
