Very unprofessional conduct as I was arriving into the "lions den". It nearly made me want to turn around in the other direction and not attempt to purchase a vehicle. I explained my situation in detail letting them know what I wanted from them so that I could avoid wasting my time by filling out unnecessary paperwork. My information, however, did Not get heard and I had to sit through a long paperwork session while the salesman typed slowly with one finger only to Be told that I would need to put a ridiculous amount down on... read more

After test driving a Prius, Corolla, and regular Camry I tried the hybrid Camry. I enjoy the feel and economy of this car. I want to understand more about how much the battery contributes to propulsion, as the engine comes on at very low speeds. Also if shifting into "B" is advisable over using the brakes when slowing or going downhill. Is this a better way to recharge the battery than braking?

Business response:

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your taking the time to visit our dealership and share your experience. To answer your question, shifting into the “B” setting will increase dynamic braking and charge the HV battery faster. This is OK to do going down long hills, but we wouldn’t recommend continuous shifting between it and the normal drive setting. The one thing to this is if the HV battery is completely charged it will basically kick the car into neutral, so please be aware of this. It would almost make the car feel... read more

Salesperson insisted that the price on the window of a new 2010 barebones Yaris was the lowest possible price the dealership could offer, and the salesperson suggested that I should go to another dealer if I wanted a better deal. That was a good suggestion! I went to another dealer the same day and got the same vehicle WITH full power package for the same price that Broadway wanted for bare bones. Broadway salesperson did not seem to care if I became a customer of theirs or not, and she was condescending, suggesting that I d... read more

I was very impressed with Max's professionalism. He also showed me that a car salesman doesn't always have to be a pushy jerk. His calm and assertive attitude made me come back after leaving the dealer the day before. This has never happened. More salesman should learn from Max that the run after you approach is NOT the way to go. Max takes this quote out of my vocabulary "You sound like a used car salesman." Thanks Max I am very appreciative of the way you handled us. Thanks Carson Cody Cooper

Business response:

We hope to help you again in the future. Please visit us... read more

* The first person I interacted with kept calling my by a different name, although I corrected him the first time. He didn't listen to me. * Then, I tried finding about cars over the internet and I felt as I was ignored. I asked questions that were not answered and received generic responses with no regard to my specific inquiries. * I went back to the dealership, in which I interacted with the man that continued to call me by a different name and pawned me off to a new employee who had never sold a car before (a nice guy, r... read more

The price he gave me for my trade was $1,500 and then he jumped up to $3,500 but increasing the new car price by $2,000!!!!! This guy is a crook, and I tried to leave in a nice way be telling him I don't have enough money for hi... read more

This happened the end of May 2010. The sales man I worked with was very friendly, but when it came to the closing deal for the 2010 Avalon and the sales manager "Mehdi Arabzadeh" I changed my mind about buying a car from Broadway Toyota. Mehdi seemed like a crook from first sight, but I don't judge people by looks. Cheap sales techniques and putting pressure on me to buy today. He wanted me to pay $38,000 for a 2010 without navi nor sunroof saying it has a great resale value and I would be able to sell it for $30,000 five ye... read more

My salesman blatantly told me inaccurate facts, tried to shove me in a used vehicle (even when I stated my 'new' preference) and brought in his sales manager when they hit a panic point. I *love* my car... I would NEVER send anyone in there. Your time and money are better spent finding another dealer.

Customer service when buying the car was excellent. Whitney was very helpful. The quality of the work therafter was not good. We were supposed to pick up the car the next day. We got dropped off at the dealership and then were told that the car wasn't there. They were prompt about giving us a shuttle home. Picked up the car the next day, the car is great. Told us they would call us in about a week when the roof rack came in. We were not called when our roof rack came in. Three weeks later, I called, and we were told wrong in... read more
