Terrible experience! I've been to this Broadway location twice and will never go back. The first time I encountered their poor level of service was when I went to buy my new car. The salesman guaranteed me a better price on my 2015 Toyota Corolla after I told him the price Mcgloughlin Toyota would offer me, after driving all the way down there he not only showed me a completely different vehicle then we discussed over the phone but then told me he absolutely could not offer me the price he quoted either. Beaverton Toyota pulled the old 'bait and switch' on me. I walked out of there feeling like a victim. Kenny's patience and professionalism saved the deal.
My girlfriend (now my wife) wanted to get a new car. She said she had a "friend" that worked at Broadway Toyota. We originally agreed I would go with her, but the sales people were anxious and reaching out to her repeatedly and she was super anxious and enticed by their offers and decided on a whim to go to the dealership without me. Within a few hours she had secured financing from Toyota Financial and drove off the lot with a newer certified used Toyota Corolla. Broadway Toyota would not honor their advertised price on a New Camry. On their website, they advertised the car with a $5000 discount, plus $750 rebate with a total discount of $5750. I printed the advertisement and took it with me. After showing the sales person the ad and test driving the car, I decided to buy it. When the sales person came out with the paperwork, it only had a $4250 discount plus a $750 rebate. The sales person tried to slip it past me, like I wouldn't notice the extra $750 on the price. I wanted to get a new 2015 RAV4 XLE. Had the pleasure of working with Ryley. She did a great job at showing me cars and allowed me to test drive them. However when the time came to negotiate the manager, Glen, didn't want to negotiate one bit. He came down $100...hahaha. I almost laughed out loud. It was he didn't want my business nor did he want to work with me. I ended up going to a different dealership where I they came down $2500. This past Sunday I was looking for cars. My 1998 Camry was totaled by another driver who hit me, so I was looking for a (new to me) used car. Though my '98 Camry took me 222,000 miles, I wasn't sure I wanted another Camry...but I was fairly certain I wanted a Toyota. I had no intention of buying a hybrid. Maybe I shouldn't write reviews at 1am...? Just to clarify: After I talked to Claude (and another salesman), I continued my car search at a Toyota dealership in Vancouver, WA. This is where the older Prius showed up that I ended up purchasing the following day because it was the only one in the area that was in my budget. Again, a 2010 with 76k miles. It was the Vancouver salesman that made my overall experience in purchasing a car a poor one. I still got an excellent deal, but sorry the money went into the wrong pocket at t... read more
I purchased a 2011 Toyota Tundra on 11/27/13, salesman was Dustin Franke. I agreed to purchase a Toyota Vehicle Service Agreement ($1525.00) and a Toyota Auto Care ($410.00), but was promised by Max Hanley that I could cancel them at any time. On 12/2/13 I went to Broadway Toyota to request that both policies be cancelled. I spoke to Dustin Franke and someone else from Finance. I signed a request to cancel the service contract.
