They fired employees for asking Kent Scott when did he vacationing to Africa it's not different than someone's when did I vacationing to California. Over recent work done on vehicle. One issue was warning light on re a light not working. Despite bulb changed. Picked up car and noted light came back on. Called service rep who said to call Monday through Friday and I would be worked in. Called today and told to come in. Got there and was told "that team doesn't work on Monday and to return tue through sat. Replied was told when called to come in. I have a brand new 2017 Camry that has a noise coming from the dashboard somewhere that they didn’t fix. That leaves me no choice but to get rid of it and buy a Honda or Subaru
Toyota of Portland service department only wants your money. They do not care how well your car works. Mike Kahn, the general manager there, made sure that this sunk in. Our minivan was bought here 2 years ago. Our tires (which only had 30,000 miles on them) were bald on the inside rim only. We could have died on our road trip to Chicago if the tire blew while on the highway. I always took my car for regular servicing. Called in today 11/24/17 to reconfirm 5000 service appointment next Friday. Person who answered phone couldn’t find me in the system. Was told they were transitioning from one system to another and sorry but could make a appointment for today at 1:30. I made the appointment and showed on time to be told they once again couldn’t find my appointment just made at 7:00am that day. If Toyota of Portland were not the best I wouldn't be there! Friendly staff, does not over sell or recommend work that isn't necessary.
I came into the dealership from Vancouver because the dealership in my area didnt have a very good selection. I found that Broadway Toyota had a great selection and the salesman JB was very helpful and knowledgeable. I purchased a truck and i am very happy with my purchase.
appointment for oil change. They said no appointment and they have a special going on right now for $29.99 or free if the oil change is not done in an hour. Drove to Toyota of Portland just to find out that it will take 2 hours and the special applies only if you schedule an appointment. This special is BS as you don't need appointment for just an oil change. Have been their customer for 6 years. Never again.
