I had basically the same experience as everyone here has mentioned. They did helped me to go from 40 to 90 however, they didn’t help with some of the issues I have and they still went ahead and claimed their portion as if they helped with all the issues I have and I claimed because they didn’t want me to claim everything. I will definitely not use them again for anything else. I will do the same and let them know that their services are no longer required.

This place is a non-accredited organization that does not have the green light to bill veterans. If any veterans are looking for help they can call their nearest VA and get accredited organizations that does not require fees. Many of these non-accredited individuals are preparing and submitting claims under the name of an accredited attorney or an accredited agent. This is not allowed... VET COMP PEN IS ONE OF THESE ORGANIZATIONS.

I put in a packet 2 years ago, they didn't get me a increase. I tried to get ahold of them and was stonewalled. I couldn't get ahold of anyone via email or phone. 2 years pass and put in my own packet and get a increase, they then somehow find out, and want 6k . Their supervisor "Hillard" is unreasonable and extremely rude. Seemed like he was getting pleasure out of taking advantage of veterans. I have had the same issue as the other veterans on this forum. The company was fantastic in the beginning and helped me go from 70 to 90%. I paid them their fee and all was good. This is where it gets bad. It seems that after they received their pound of flesh they are nowhere to be found. They do not answer calls or emails. I have requested calls back and nothing. I have sent them multiple emails with no response. I have requested to cancel my contract and still nothing. I am afraid to even try to file another claim because... read more

Like all the previous reviews I just read. I am having the same issue with this company that preys on veteran for their issues and claim money. I signed an agreement for certain issues, which they failed to get me compensated. Then I submitted claims not related to those issues on my own on the ebenefits system. Now they are invoicing me for money they did not have anything to do with. BBB needs to do something in regards to this company. After getting nowhere with Disabled American Veterans (DAV) in my claims with the Veteran's Administration (VA), I turned to Vet Comp and Pen for help. I had what should have been an open and shut case in getting compensation from the VA for medical issues caused by my service to this great nation. I had two claims pending, filed through the DAV. VETERANS, BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY- THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF! I signed a contract with this company in April 2019. I already had a claim in progress, and I told VCP about this. They said, "No problem, we can help you with that!" The claim had been denied, and I needed to file a Notice of Disagreement (NOD) by November 2019. After signing the contract, VCP sent me several questionnaires to fill out, and asked me to upload my current disability info. They are awesome at what they do. It is a shame that vets have to pay to get the benefits they deserve; however, VCP will let you pay them over time - at ZERO interest. You only pay them, if you get paid from the VA. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by hiring them.

I hate knowing veterans have had a bad experience with this company. My experience was great! I was at 80% before I looked into VCP. To understand the VA compensation system, you really have to do a lot of research which is why I like VCP. They took a lot of the burden off of me. After a few months of waiting for VCP to get my records, them getting a strategy together, and going to the VA for c&p exams, I was at 100%.
