Just had my initial consultation with ****** this morning. The company goes out of their way to disclose everything related to what they do and how they do it. They also make sure that you fully understand the financial obligation that you are agreeing to to and that you only pay them if and when you win your V.A. disability claim. This company is supposed to help veterans filling a disability claim with the Department of Veterans Affairs. I contacted them and they determined they could help. They made me sign a contract with the hopes of helping me file the claim and provide help during the process. I was working overseas at the time of the contract. They said they would help me with my PTSD claim and ignored everything else. The company sent me a few photocopies and left me on my own. It has been a cumulation of things over the years. One of the things that bothered me was getting an email or voicemail multiple times saying I had 12-24 hours to fax something. I work shift work and I may not see that message right away, so I had a truly short amount of time to get that done so the logistics was horrible for me. Something I forgot to add in my initial review...I changed my address almost 3 years ago and last week they sent important PII information to an old address. I changed/updated my address multiple times with them and they still sending PII stuff to the wrong address.
just like all the other complaints that i have read on the site, they preyed on me also. They were supposed to help me with a claim, after the claim was denied, i called and and reported to them like i was told. They never reached out to me. After about six months later I worked on the claim on my own. Vet Comp and Pen reached out to me with an invoice on a claim that they did not help me recieve. This company seems to act like they want to help you in the beginning, but then it turns into a scam.

Sharks. They prey on veterans in need of help with their claims and will milk you for every increase you ever get whether they help you with the increase or not. They are un-ethical and poor customer service. Based on my personal experience, I have fallen victim to their bullying and harassments and hope to warn other veterans to not use their services and to do their research on other options. I agree with most of the negative reviews about Vet Comp & Pen. They assisted me with a small claim for my tinnitus almost 2 years ago. They provided me all of the documents that needed to accompany my claim. That claim was successful and I was billed for $700 from them. I then realized that all they did was download the free VA forms from VA's website and just filled in my own words from our phone conversations. In 2018 I reached out to the company to work on a VA claim increase. I was scheduled for a phone appointment on two occasions to move the process forward. I never received a call on those two occasions. After they missed appointments, they emailed me stating that they can't reach me and that I'm not communicating.
