Something has changed dramatically in the wake of Brandon Fay’s departure. Wait staff not as service oriented, no flexibility on menu (with a couple of unwelcome changes to the antipasto bar like no meatballs) and as a long long time customer here, it feels like no one knows me anymore. Bummer.

I would recommend this restaurant, but with one caveat: it’s terribly overpriced! I suppose this is to be expected in a midtown Manhattan restaurant directly across the street from Carnegie Hall. Nevertheless, I paid $17 for a vodka martini, $15 for a Caesar salad, $28 for a smallish serving of pasta, plus tax and tip. I could get a better Caesar salad in Yonkers for $5.95 and a larger martini for $10, but you’re paying for the location and the convenience.
