Great food. Fresh, inventive, delicious and authentic. Service was impeccable. Waiter was always attentive and bus people refilled our water glasses continuously without prompting. We had a concert to go to and the waiter was extremely mindful of time and got us served and out with more than enough time. Love this restaurant. It's our go-to whenever we are going to Carnegie Hall. Excellent all-around.
Reservation was within 10 minutes of scheduled time. Food selection and meal was excellent. Waiter showed great attention to our table and pleasant to deal with, a true professional.
Very pleasant but smallish place. Food was excellent but not spectacular and ambiance was nice but space was a bit tight. We were jammed into a corner next to a group of women who brayed like donkeys through the whole meal.
Food and service is exceptional. It gets very busy as it is just across the street from Carnegie Hall and close to NY City Center.
Beautiful space. Great service. Delicious lobster carbonara. Shrimp main course disappointing- shrimp were undercooked and brought out while appetizer was being finished.
Delightful restaurant with terrific location near Central Park. I enjoyed the chicken parmesan with pepperoni entree as well as Peroni draught beer, although the entree was so large I could not finish it. The wait staff was most attentive, and prices reasonable for mid-town New York.
Nice Italian restaurant if you are near their location. (The waiter recommended a $100 bottle of wine right off the bat and didn't know the name of it. We ended up with a fine $60 bottle.) I thought the food was a tad expensive, even for that neighborhood. But it has a nice authentic Italian feel and the food was good.
We went on a Monday night, so it was much less crowded than a Thursday or Friday night. The food is always amazing, the service was excellent, and the price is in line with a good restaurant in NYC. We try to go at least once a month. We weren't rushed at all, hung out at our table and just enjoyed ourselves. They are the best!
We had a wonderfully enjoyable experience. The food was delicious and the host made us feel so welcome. The staff was appropriately attentive. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
