We love this restaurant!! Excellent food and outstanding service.
This dinner experience was okay. I might recommend the restaurant to someone who is attending a concert at Carnegie Hall as the location is across 7th Avenue and is therefore extremely convenient in that regard. The quality of my meal was very good. The negative portion of the experience has to do with the service and ambience. The wait staff was friendly but seemed quite over worked. Service and food were both excellent. Very busy restaurant. The lady at the coat check was a great personality
After waiting to be seated (with reservation), we were seated at table in noisy area with large parties (Christmas season - to be expected to some point). When I asked them for quiet table (as I had on reservation) they got us table upstairs in quiet corner shortly. Very responsive, with a smile, and from there food, service, etc. EXCELLENT

Where to begin....This is an iconic NY experience from A-Z but guess what? They leave the pretention behind and care instead, about your experience. We were there last Sunday and sat at a table centrally located. Michael the Maitre D' shuffled some tables for us and Guy the manager seated us.
