The food was good, as always -- especially antipasto, fried artichokes and pasta. But it was noisy, expensive and we were rushed through the meal. So though I have fond memories of what it was, what it is now doesn't live up to the memories.
Food was better than I expected. It was really good. The place is in a very busy midtown area and it was packed and noisy so that took away from the ambiance. The location is great if your going to Carnegie Hall. That’s when I’ll go back when I have tickets to something there.
Food was great. Service was also great. Only complaint. Tables are on top of each other. And noise level high but very enjoyable meal
The food, service and ambience are top notch. The staff from the minute you enter the restaurant make you feel like a long awaited guest. The greeting and welcome are extra special. And then you get to experience the cuisine - Delicioso!! The appetizer pizza make the old way is crispy and seasoned to perfection. The choices from an abundant antipasto bar are yum! The entrees were wonderful - I had the bronzino cooked to perfection and my husband had the seafood with pasta. The only negative is that we had to leave! Definitel... read more
Good food, good service, not a stuffy place.
One of the best restaurant experiences that I ever had. A super welcome for my wife and I on arrival which was followed up all staff we came into contact with. Magnificent garlic bread and main course. Such a joy to have found this hideaway
One of my favorite NYC restaurants. Trattatoria Dell Arte/nose bar never disappoints.
We arrived with our party of 8 and were seated in the upstairs area which was lovely. The only small issue was the very steep stairs and 2 octogenarians in our group. It was ok but if had known I would have requested down stairs seating. The service was excellent and friendly. Everyone enjoyed their food, not one complaint but tons of praise. From salad to soup, plain past with butter (kids), meatballs, seafood and the lovely dishes where you choose 3-5 small dishes as a main. All was really good. We made it the concert at C... read more
Half our party was a little late. So, the manager asked that they wait for us to be seated. Once our party was complete, we were seated. Almost immediately, our table was sent a plate full of sharables from the kitchen from the manager for the wait. Our server, Sage was outstanding. Very attentive and witty. He even gave us our own photo shoot! Great food, great service, great experience. Can’t wait to go back!
