We always eat here when we come to NYC. Such wonderful service and ambiance. Definitely great people watching. We had the bolognese lasagne which was large enough to feed 2-3. Caesar salad was fresh and light. Margherita pizza was very good with a thin crust.
great ambience , food and service as always , they even found me a matching colour pashmina to wear as it was chilly where I was sitting , always visit when we are in NY
Great meal after not having been in years. We went pre-theater and they managed our needs well. Only drawback was that men's bathroom was out of service and guys had to go next door. Our kids enjoyed their pizzas. Pasta dishes were classic Italian but flavorful.
A/C blowing on us through dinner. Was freezing.
The veal parm is to die for... everything is over the top good!!

Their anti-pasta bar with lots of incredible vegetables is a must ! That's what sets this restaurant apart from all the others . Everything is good here… But the vegetable selection is awesome!!
At some point this place changed from being a decent NYC place to something that felt more touristy. It's across the street from Carnegie Hill and on the edge of midtown, so it was usually a business and Carnegie Hall crowd. Now it's something different. For example, five different people had birthdays while we were there. The waiters donned costumes and sang Happy Birthday to the patrons.
