I love to sit at the antipasti bar. The view of the food is amazing and inspiring and the personal service from John and Jose is beyond compare. What a lovely find in a convenient location. My meal started with a roasted beet salad which was generous and thoroughly enjoyed. I had the veal Piccata which was excellent, and then splurged on a shared piece of vanilla meringue cake. Thank heavens we shared it; the piece was enough for 4 people but worth the calories.

A delightful Italian restaurant across from Carnegie Hall. I had a marvelous meal there (veal piccata with braised artichokes), and as a woman dining alone, felt very well cared for. I'll seek it out on my next trip to New York.

Great experience from beginning to end. Wonderful food. Great service. Quiet enough that we could hear ourselves and have a great talk, but still a fun atmosphere. Great for groups (we had 8 people and the accommodated beautifully).

We spilled a glass of water and the matre'd was very gracious and helpful. He and the staff made us feel v comfortable and welcome. Then the food was great. We even came back after our event for coffee and dessert.
