Great food, great service, great ambiance. Variety of food choices was outstanding.
At the opposite end of Manhattan from Little Italy, Trattoria Dell'Arte lends itself to the Carnegie Hall going-crowd. Entrees are on the high end, but the ambience is beautiful inside and outside the restaurant. Great for special occasions and dates -- but bring lots of money because you must purchase entreés and side dishes separately.
Food was disappointing but the dessert was excellent especially the TARTUFO

Lovely food, good service but a bit over priced. One of the waiters brought out a tray of freshly baked cookies & offered them to everyone which was a nice touch.
Most restaurants with big menus you expect to have certain specialties and strong points...with this restaurant that was not the case because EVERYTHING on the menu was absolutely outstanding. From the fresh seasoned bread, to the beautifully marinated and flavored antipasto veggies, to our authentic and perfectly executed main courses this was one of the best restaurants I've ever been to in NYC! Trattoria Dell'Arte is the perfect place to go if you have plans at Carnegie Hall or Lincoln Center. The food is good, albeit a little pricey, but they get you in and out fast understanding that you have showtime commitments. It is very, very loud, but certainly fun and energetic.
Wonderful restaurant with amazing homemade pasta dishes! Love to make a stop here on a visit to NYC!
