As usual, this place delivered. I find the staff friendly and expert. The short ribs meat balls are well worth crossing town for. Quaint, friendly bar is always pleasant and dependable as well. Excellent location amid more expensive options. It's a regular stop for me. You should try it. You will go back.

very accommodating for our large group. Some food items are gigantic so ask ahead if dishes should be shared,

We spend 2 weeks a year in NYC and never miss a the opportunity to eat ar Trattoria del arte...the menu isn't overwhelming. the chef offers fewer, excellent choices..pastas are well prepared, beautifully presented by attentive, knowledgeable waiters... love the outside dining area (very close to the street) on a nice spring night, but indoor ambience cant be beat for a quiet, romantically candlelit experience...when you go, be sure to try the fried artichokes--to die for!!

We so enjoyed our dinner, this was the second time this week. Great food, good staff, lively atmosphere.

This restaurant doesn't disappoint! It's consistently great and that is why it's open a long time and crowded all the time. Ask to sit in Guy's section. The best waitstaff person in the city!

Brandon Fay is a genius and so is the staff of this brilliant restaurant, I cannot recommend it enough. Anyone who likes to enjoy food and life in general would be remiss if they did not stop by for a meal, should the opportunity present itself.

My sweetie and I were in town with my 4mo old baby... I was grateful to be able to get a last minute reservation. The servers and host were very gracious - we had a stroller with us (because baby can't sit up on her own yet) and they were able to accommodate. Food was good. We were eyeing the pizza but ordered something else because it said you couldn't get pizza before 7:30pm. After we ordered we saw a pizza go by; guess we should have tried to order it anyway cuz someone else was able to ...

The day's special was special indeed. The soft shell crabs were succulent and paired with a tomato and green bean side that was good to the last bite.

We were in a corner, I had a large serving of lasagna and could not eat half or 60% of it. The food was ok, but upstairs is cramped and we were sorry that we chose dell Arte before a glorious performance at Carnegie Hall.
