The last time my wife and i were at the restaurant, we took two friends with us. We were very disappointed with the seating - we moved tables once but the booth was uncomfrotabl too - and our food was not top notch. This time, my wife and daughter and I had great meals, great service and had a thoroughly good time. This is the way it has been for us in the past and it showed the last visit was an abberation. From the warm and friendly greeting at the door, to the exceptional service and knowledge of the waiter, you know this is going to be a fabulous evening. The menu choices and specials fit every palate including gluten-free diners. The wine suggestion was spot on. Portion sizes are just right and beautifully presented. The warm breads were wonderful. I have eaten at this restaurant on three visits to New York this year. I have eaten great Italian food for over sixty years, and I love the flavors in the food prepared in this kitchen. The dishes are consistently excellent, and the service has been extremely friendly and attentive. It is close enough to the theatre district to be an easy walk after an early dinner, and of course it is right across the avenue from Carnegie Hall. Ask for Michael as your waiter; you'll be glad you did.
One of the finest Italian restaurants in New York City. Spectacular antipasto bar. Fabulous Veal Milanesa, Veal Parmesan, Lasagna, steaks. Great desserts. We make it a point to have dinner at Trattoria Dell'Arte every time we visit New York.
Great food great service. Huge portions and everything was prepared perfectly. Highly recommend it
What can I say, there isn't a bad thing on the menu! My favorite dish is the seafood pasta (i don't remember the fancy Italian name they give it on the menu)
