A bit pricey but excellent service and good food. We had dinner here two nights while staying at the Hilton Club New York. My husband and I shared an seafood antipasto appetizer, Lasagna bolognese and three scoops of pistachio gelato the first night and we shared a thin crust pizza, two beers, one cappuccino and an ice cream ball the second night. It was around $75 each night before tip.
My wife and I were in nyc for the first time in 5 years. We were given s great recommendation by the New York athletic club. Food was delicious and great service.
Trattoria d'el Arte is one of those restaurants we count on for consistently good food, lovely service and customer accomodation. The food was amazing! From Pizza to seafood to antipasto you're going to be simply more than satisfied with this restaurant.
I go frequently for the excellent food, best antipasto bar in the city, friendly maitre d's and excellent wait staff. A true pleasure every time.
We dined around 11:00pm after a play, and found the restaurant very empty....I have dined there several times in the past, and it was quite crowded. The food was very good...We somehow felt that we may have been not a priority for our waiter. 3 older women...
Delicious food and great service. Perfect location for pre-theater dinner. Will definitely come back.
Greeting was well done. Felt welcomed but the service was poor. I received my wine with my main course even thought the server knew that he did not bring it. Chatting with he ladies on another table. Poor attention. Food was good but I wished hey filet the Dover sole at the table. Asparagus tasted like straw. My family also had the artichoke, the pizza and the famous veal Parma which they enjoyed. Was not a bad experience but was not great for the price.
Our server tried hard and she was very pleasant . Bus boys never cleaned the table it was very strange to say the least and place was not even busy at all. No one is in charge I guess sad to see our one time favorite managed badly .
