We had a delicious dinner. The four of us each chose a different entrée and all were excellent. Our server was charming and efficient as well, making sure we had everything we needed We were half an hour late but still were finished and out the door with plenty of time to make the concert across the street
This place always gets it right even if its hectic...and Brandon is a hoot and a great host.
Hosts were working very hard with a great attitude to get everyone seated quickly and politely. Quite a difference from the norm, lots of customer perks and attention to detail. A very pleasant experience!
Extremely good and healthy food. I believe they use the best ingredients. The staff is speculation and it is affordable, considering its standards and location. For me specifically it was the best dining experience in New York.
Our server Michael was amazing, very attentive and helped make our experience special. The pizza was phenomenal and the Halibut was the best I have ever tasted (the special of the evening). Our other entrees were equally as good. We were celebrating a birthday and our dessert (the best cannoli I have ever tasted) came with a sparkler and a song! The staff was attentive, helpful and did not rush us even though they were very busy. We would definitely dine there again when in New York.
Found this place when searching for restaurants near Carnegie Hall. Excellent location, right across the street. We ate upstairs, which was a little quieter than the street level, but still bustling. The entree portion size is decent, so appetizers not really needed unless you are quite hungry. The food quality was excellent, and the waiters/servers were attentive but not overbearing. A little on the pricey side, but well worth it!
Was very impressed that it is still really excellent after all of these years. BUT, the prices are a bit ridiculous. Pastas well into the $30s and meat entrees to $50. I guess their rent is very high but it still fees like they can get away with it due to a lack of nearby competition. At least the quality is high, and potions are large. Still a good buzz in the room with people who look like they have been dining here for years.
Excellent as always, though a bit of a challenge to navigate around the tables. Very crowded in the upper dining room, but the food is aways so amazing, we didn't care.
The food has always been great, but the staff seems to be overwhelmed and for the money they charge, you would think they would be more attentive I have been going for years and this is sadly a recent trend that they can easily fit
