Phenomenal food and great atmosphere! The pasta carbarna and the veal chop parmigiana were the best I have ever had. Great location on 7th and 56th for pre-post theater meal. You will not be disappointed.
Consistently good and since we like to eat late, it is perfect that they serve until midnight.
I have gone to this restaurant since many years ago and it has been around for a reason. The space is attractive and the food is great. It is a bit pricey but that is in part because it is less of a neighborhood restaurant and a bit more of a special destination in the heart of midtown...but the plus is you feel like you really went out!
The first impression was positive when the maitre'd greeted us warmly and offered us complimentary prosecco. Then we chose where we wanted to sit and the meal was made specifically for us ( not even on the menu). The waiter was impeccable as was the service and the meal was served in a timely manner as we had theater tickets which the maitre 'd knew. (He had asked when we arrived.) The food was delicious! All in all, an excellent experience.
the pizza was really good, desserts yummy, bread needs improvement ..but its the most reliable carnegie hall / city center eatery
We met cousins from Austin for lunch, and it was an outstanding experience! Not only did the food, service and ambiance live up to our expectations, but the staff was exceedingly friendly and welcoming. And 'Justin' made the experience so much fun, chatting with us and generally making us feel so at home. We definitely will return !
Certain dishes also served at Cafe Fiorello are much better at Trattoria Dell'Arte. But, as we are in the Lincoln Center area more often, we dine at Cafe Fiorello. Trattaria Dell'Arte needs to send their chef there and give lessons. All of the staff were also excellent. We do find the service at Cafe Fiorello also very attentive.
Still delivers after so many years I have lost count. We were lucky to have dinner on an off holiday night. Never seen the place less that overflowing and it added to the enjoyment of our meal. The food was excellent but a bit pricy. Great choice for a vibrant NYC experience.
I have been at your restaurant many times, I am always very satisfied with everything, the food , the service, the ambiance, and is a beautiful place , I used to work 2 blocks from there , I use to go more , now I am retired but I go when I can.. thank you, keep up the good work .. Nellie Allison.
