It was great to have a table outside and see Times Square while we ate. Our table was really shaky, however. The fried artichokes and dessert were delicious, but the veal was very tough.

Made reservations and indicated that my wife was celebrating a milestone birthday. The waiter knew nothing about it and I had to remind him. We have been there many times over the years and we were disappointed by this most recent experience.

Trattoria del Arte is always excellent - service, food, ambience. prices are high but there are lots of options for those less hungry or with less net worth. and the antipasto bar is just fantastic !

They have many beautiful side dishes meant for sharing. Many of the entrees can be made gluten-free. Gluten-free cannollies too!

The perfection they demand in their food is evident throughout the meal. Don't miss this place if you are in the mood for authentic Italian. We had not made any dinner reservations and found ourselves hungry after the MOMA closed. We stumbled upon this place using Open Table and it was AWESOME!! They make their own pasta. Their pizzas are cracker thin and delicious. The wait staff is so a... read more

The 3 of us dined here before going across the street to see a concert at Carnegie Hall. Could not have asked for a better location, especially since it was a big downpour that night. Our evening started with a handshake from the maitre d. That was a pleasant surprise to be greeted so enthusiasticaly. It was a 5:45 reservation and the restaurant was already full! We shared 2 different appetizers: Prosciutto Di Parma and braised octopus & calamari. Both were delicious! For entrees, I had lobster spaghetti carbonara, and my ot... read more

Had lunch here with a group of eight. It was fairly empty since it was the last work day before the July 4th holiday, but food was execllent and service went above and beyond.
